definition2 Definition: Zoom mode zooms up on a given chart to view chart details while in Run mode.  Zoom mode changes the mouse cursor to a magnifying glass and allows the user to zoom up on a particular area of the chart by clicking a dragging an area on the chart.

  Click the Chart Icon in the Mode bar
Click on Chart (located in the Menu Bar at the top of the screen)
Move the mouse to an area on the chart
Click and drag the mouse to form an area which will be magnified

note2   Note:    If an axis is not included in the zoom area, it will be difficult to know the units of the parameter that is being zoomed.  It is suggested to include at least one axis in the zoom are to provide scale to the data.   Zoom mode can be exited by performing the above steps again to shut it off.   When zoom mode is turned off…the zoomed area remains on the chart until it is reset.  Opening the chart properties or toggling design mode will also reset a zoomed gauge

definition2 Definition: Zoomed charts can be reset by selecting a zoomed gauge and resetting it.

Select a zoomed chart in Run mode
Click on Chart (located in the Menu Bar at the top of the screen)
Select Reset zoom from the menu

 

note2   Note:    If Reset Zoom is not available in the menu, the selected chart is not zoomed.  Make sure the correct chart is selected in the workspace.  Zoom mode will also be reset when the gauge properties are modified or Design mode is toggled.
