definition2 Definition:  Floating windows can be created in a workspace and moved anywhere on the screen. Floating windows can be identified by the blue bar at the top of the window, which contains the window title.

note2   Note: Floating windows can also be parked at the bottom of a workspace, which will integrate the window with the program. When a floating window is parked, it no longer contains a scroll bar and is separate from the workspace.
