Definition: Design Mode allows users to configure and modify workspace (setting up the dashboard, mini-dashboard, and charting functions).

How to: Activate Design Mode:
| • | Click on Options (located in the Menu Bar at the top of the screen) |
| • | Toggle Design Mode On / Off by clicking (Default: On) |
OR
| • | Right- Click Workspace |
| • | Toggle Design Mode On / Off by clicking (Default: On) |
Note: When design mode is activated:
| • | There will be a blue outline and shadow around the "design mode"  key |
| • | In Dashboard Mode, grid lines will show up in the workspace |
| • | In Chart Mode, a gray border will show up around the chart |
| • | In Chart Mode, right click will display Design Mode (check mark means Design Mode On) |
Note: Design mode can be toggled at any time in run mode or offline. However, live data, charts, and alarms can only be shown when design mode is turned off.
