Dashboard design tips:

1. Gauges can be stacked one on top of another while in design mode (see images below).  Since borders are hidden while in run mode, a clean look can be achieved.

2.A digital readout can be added to any gauge by adding a numeric gauge (without labels) with the same data source on top of an existing gauge  (see below).

note2   Note: When editing gauge properties in design mode, the gauge that was last edited falls behind the remaining gauges.  Therefore, in this example, it is possible to hide numeric gauge behind the 270 degree gauge when editing the 270 gauge.  It is best practice to move the numeric gauge out of the way when editing the 270 gauge.

3.  Use the gauge scale factor gauges that have large numbers for data (i.e. RPM) to make them more readable when it is desired to have a smaller gauge.

4.  Use frames and static text to easily organize dashboards with a lot of gauges.  This will make it easier to find gauges when they are needed.

5.  Use the grid to align gauges on the dashboard
