90mm Throttle Body

In addition to our new EFI Systems, MSD is also releasing throttle bodies for performance engines, starting with a 90mm cast aluminum throttle body. MSD uses a cast design to achieve a parabolic bore shape. The parabolic bore allows for excellent drivability characteristics during part throttle. Typical billet straight bore throttles don’t have this cut, which irritates performance drivers when they have trouble modulating the power properly when navigating the track. MSD uses factory proven bearings, seals, and shaft design to achieve a very robust design that can stand the temperature swings seen by street applications without worrying about throttle sticking issues seen by other aftermarket throttle bodies. This throttle body is so good, it’s being used exclusively by GM Racing for their racing efforts in Daytona Prototype, SCCA Road Racing, and Dakar Hummer Off-road racing. MSD will be releasing more throttle bodies like this one in the future.
